It adjoins an open area for mingling with food and beverage service and Max Factor\u2018s world famous makeup rooms where Marilyn Monroe became a blonde, Lucy got her signature red hair, and Hollywood\u2019s Golden Era stars got their \u201clooks\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><b>Party Elevator \u00a0<\/b>\u00a0Capacity: 40<\/p>\n<p>The converted freight elevator can be set with a cocktail bar and has dramatic lighting, sound and projection. It features a huge stained glass chandelier hand-made by Tony Curtis and vintage 6-sheet posters. The elevator can hold up to 12,000 pounds, and can even transport an automobile.<\/p>\n<p><b>Screening Room\u00a0 (First Floor) \u00a0\u00a0<\/b>Capacity: 40<\/p>\n<p>A customized presentation can be projected in a DVD format while guests watch from the original seating from \u201cThe Exorcist\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><b>Historic Photo Gallery (First Floor) \u00a0\u00a0<\/b>Capacity: 20 to 60, depending on set up<\/p>\n<p>Max Factor\u2019s former Wig Room has been converted to a photo gallery filled with more than 1,000 vintage black and white Hollywood photos and can be used for seminars, board meetings or as a VIP green room. It is available for private breakfasts and lunches during regular museum hours.<\/p>\n<p><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Exhibit Floors (Second and Third Floors)<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Capacity: 130 to 200, depending on set up<\/p>\n<p>The exhibits on the second and third floors feature 100 years of Hollywood costumes, awards, photos, cars, sets, props, posters, and prized possessions of Hollywood\u2019s famous legends \u2014 from the Silents to Talkies to Hollywood\u2019s Golden Era, Film Noir, through the rebellious 60\u2019s, special effects 70\u2019s, evolving 80\u2019s, involved 90\u2019s, technological 2000\u2019s, and beyond to current day heartthrobs\u2014as well as the history of the Hollywood Walk of Fame.<\/p>\n<p><b>Penthouse Ballroom (Fourth Floor)\u00a0 \u00a0<\/b>Capacity 300 seated, 650 cocktail reception, 400 theater style<\/p>\n<p>The elegant Art Deco ballroom overlooks Hollywood and Highland. This flexible event space can also be utilized for tradeshows or automotive events as the elevator has the ability to transport a vehicle or large displays.<\/p>\n<p><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Lower Level \u00a0\u00a0<\/b>Capacity: 120 to 140<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cChamber of Horrors\u201d on the Lower Level boasts the original film set from \u201cSilence of the Lambs\u201d including Hannibal Lecter\u2019s jail cell and is perfect for unique themed events.<\/p>\n<h2>\u00a0<\/h2>\n<h2><b>Can areas of the museum be rented separately, or do you have to buy out the entire museum?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Either the entire museum or selected areas can be rented.
