What are the spaces available for private events at The Hollywood Museum?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Lobby\/First Floor\u00a0<\/strong>Capacity 20-200<\/p>\n

Check-in area\/ Gift bag area, Red carpet entry<\/p>\n

The historically restored Hollywood Art Deco Regency-style lobby features ambient lighting, period chandeliers and showcases. It adjoins an open area for mingling with food and beverage service and Max Factor\u2018s world famous makeup rooms where Marilyn Monroe became a blonde, Lucy got her signature red hair, and Hollywood\u2019s Golden Era stars got their \u201clooks\u201d.<\/p>\n

Party Elevator \u00a0<\/b>\u00a0Capacity: 40<\/p>\n

The converted freight elevator can be set with a cocktail bar and has dramatic lighting, sound and projection. It features a huge stained glass chandelier hand-made by Tony Curtis and vintage 6-sheet posters. The elevator can hold up to 12,000 pounds, and can even transport an automobile.<\/p>\n

Screening Room\u00a0 (First Floor) \u00a0\u00a0<\/b>Capacity: 40<\/p>\n

A customized presentation can be projected in a DVD format while guests watch from the original seating from \u201cThe Exorcist\u201d.<\/p>\n

Historic Photo Gallery (First Floor) \u00a0\u00a0<\/b>Capacity: 20 to 60, depending on set up<\/p>\n

Max Factor\u2019s former Wig Room has been converted to a photo gallery filled with more than 1,000 vintage black and white Hollywood photos and can be used for seminars, board meetings or as a VIP green room. It is available for private breakfasts and lunches during regular museum hours.<\/p>\n

Exhibit Floors (Second and Third Floors)<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Capacity: 130 to 200, depending on set up<\/p>\n

The exhibits on the second and third floors feature 100 years of Hollywood costumes, awards, photos, cars, sets, props, posters, and prized possessions of Hollywood\u2019s famous legends \u2014 from the Silents to Talkies to Hollywood\u2019s Golden Era, Film Noir, through the rebellious 60\u2019s, special effects 70\u2019s, evolving 80\u2019s, involved 90\u2019s, technological 2000\u2019s, and beyond to current day heartthrobs\u2014as well as the history of the Hollywood Walk of Fame.<\/p>\n

Penthouse Ballroom (Fourth Floor)\u00a0 \u00a0<\/b>Capacity 300 seated, 650 cocktail reception, 400 theater style<\/p>\n

The elegant Art Deco ballroom overlooks Hollywood and Highland. This flexible event space can also be utilized for tradeshows or automotive events as the elevator has the ability to transport a vehicle or large displays.<\/p>\n

Lower Level \u00a0\u00a0<\/b>Capacity: 120 to 140<\/p>\n

The \u201cChamber of Horrors\u201d on the Lower Level boasts the original film set from \u201cSilence of the Lambs\u201d including Hannibal Lecter\u2019s jail cell and is perfect for unique themed events.<\/p>\n

Can areas of the museum be rented separately, or do you have to buy out the entire museum?<\/b><\/h2>\n

Either the entire museum or selected areas can be rented. For information regarding rates, please email us\u00a0here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Is there in-house catering?<\/b><\/h2>\n

The Hollywood Museum has an award winning preferred caterer,\u00a0who has full service event planning capabilities, and will work with you to design a custom menu and event to meet your thematic and budget requirements.<\/p>\n

Do you offer event entertainment?<\/b><\/h2>\n

The Hollywood Museum has an extensive database of event entertainment including DJ\u2019s, performers, bands, and celebrity look-alikes, and will be happy to arrange entertainment and\/or work with a vendor of your choosing.<\/p>\n

What kind of events can I have at the museum?<\/b><\/h2>\n

The Hollywood Museum is very flexible and can accommodate business meetings, corporate events, tradeshows, charity events, and private celebrations.<\/p>\n

Are there photo opportunities?<\/b><\/h2>\n

Yes! \u00a0Your guests can be photographed with any\/all of our exhibits including 10,000 showbiz treasures. \u00a0A photographer is available upon request, or you are welcome to bring your own photographer.<\/p>\n

Do you have a liquor license?<\/b><\/h2>\n

Yes<\/p>\n

Do you have event equipment in house?<\/b><\/h2>\n

The museum has the following:<\/p>\n

8 \u2013 60\u201d Flat screen TVs\/ DVD format<\/p>\n

Stage, podium, lounge furnishings, dance floor, dining tables, chairs, and high top tables.<\/p>\n

Do you offer AV equipment?<\/b><\/h2>\n

The museum has wifi and basic AV equipment, and will refer you to a vendor for your specific needs.<\/p>\n

Where do guests park for an event at The Hollywood Museum?<\/b><\/h2>\n

We have a relationship with the parking lot adjacent to the museum, and will refer you to that vendor for valet or self parking arrangements. \u00a0Otherwise guests can park across the street at the Hollywood and Highland complex or in one of the many neighboring parking lots.<\/p>\n

Is smoking allowed?<\/b><\/h2>\n

There is no smoking allowed inside the museum.<\/p>\n

Is your building handicap accessible?<\/b><\/h2>\n

We have ramps and elevator access for all handicap needs.<\/p>\n
